Yahoo SMS Messenger on Sprint

Finally! I have been waiting for Yahoo to actually have Y Messenger SMS available for Sprint users. I don’t know how long it has been available for Sprint but when I visited http://mobile.yahoo.com/messenger/sms and followed the setup to get my mobile phone to registered it worked! finally worked! I was very happy. I know this is such a small thing I’m very happy. I used to have cingular and nokia phone and it always worked on cingular. You don’t know how much easier it is to have an YM SMS. I don’t have to keep on internet on my phone just txt messaging.

Today is 11-06-2008

  • woke up and there was a package that came in early in the morning. Wen styling creme arrived! Bought two 6oz Wen styling creme on ebay, the seller is nice, gave discount on shipping, price is still lower than the retail and I got a cashback from live.com for using my hotmail account on ebay to purchase buy it now items. I paid yesterday and recieved it these morning. Chaz Dean's Wen collection is very pricey and its no joke to like these kind of products. I am not about to spend $28 for a 16oz Cleansing Conditioner, $24 on a 6oz Styling Creme and $72 on a 4oz Hair re-moist hydrating mask. Sure the products are great but I don't have that kind of money to pamper my hair like that. The only thing I would use and will probably keep on using eventhough it's a bit pricey is the styling creme. I even searched thru ebay to get a bargain and made sure there's cashback from live.com. My hair is wavy, think and frizy. The styling creme made it soft and nice to the touch without weighing my hair down. I have tried many leave in conditioner or styling creme but those stuff I used before made it look like my hair is never going to dry up, it always looks wet like straight out of the shower for the entire day. I'm lazy when it comes to blowing my hair dry I always liked it air dry and Wen Styling Creme is just the right one for ME. When I say me, meaning it might not work for everyone so if you are interested just get a trial version, your choice.
  • I searched for make up that is safe for acne prone, dry and oily skin. I heard about mineral makeups before but never really liked the idea of powdery make up because powder just doesn't sits well on my face. It always looked like I have clumped stuff on my face. I found out about Everyday Minerals last Aug of 2008 and decided to order their free sample kits. I got 5 small jars of samples. 3 foundation, 1 blush and 1 concealer. Compare to other mineral makeups I liked how these does not irritate my skin. It's very important the I only use products that doesn't irritate my skin. Yesterday I ordered my second sample kit and added sample kit of eyes shadows, then brush and moisturizer. The reason why I'm getting another sample kit is because the first kit I got didn't match my skin tone well. They have huge selections but good thing they offer samples or else I'll be stuck with huge full jars of stuff that doesn't even suite me well. I am pretty sure that the second samples I ordered will be very close to my skin tone. I did finish the first sample because I sometimes use it at night and end up sleeping on it too, since its safe to do so anyways. Coverage is medium for me because I still have acne spots but it's very good in toning down the redness, even though there's little bumps on my face, everyday minerals did a good job in evening out my skin tone. And one last thing I want to mention. Their minerals does not contain talc and I am so happy about that. Talc just doesn't do me any good.

  • Under eye dark circles! nobody likes them. I read at about.com that you can get rid of dark circled with chamomile tea. That's cool! with all the stuff that was mentioned on the article on how to get rid of dark circles the only thing I have available at home is chamomile tea. Also found out that if you drink chamomile tea it relaxes your muscles and helps you sleep better. Now that's a plus! So I grabbed two tea bags and placed it on a cup of hot water then I cut the strings off and stored the tea bags in the fridge. I'm sleeping well tonight and I will have two cold tea bags waiting for me tomorrow to use as under eye circle patches to get rid of puffiness. Oh! I love multipurpose stuff.

BB Cream shade swatch

What is BB cream? well if you want to know more search it on google. LOL
Now I want to share this small compiled info that I got from a different site. I originally took the time to do this for my own personal use or reference only but might as well share it right!?

Now take a look at the photo below. This was originally 5 separate photos that I decided to put together so I could tell the differences in colors/shades of each bb creams closely, Kathi spent money and time to get this done and she even wrote reviews of each bb cream she tried, go to her blog site to learn more, because I will not copy all of her reviews here, that would not be nice :)

Take note that Kathi's skintone is very fair like she said on her blog. Her skin type is normal-dry and very sensitive. As you can see on the photo, 8 shades of 8 different bb creams are marked with red line; those 8 are the shades that worked well with her very fair skintone. I don't know what MAC shade she is but I do know that my skintone is a lot darker than her.

BB cream is supposed to set in to your skin and blend in to give a natural look in your face no matter what shade of bb you buy. Bb cream only have very limited shades and seems like all of it has a very light shade to it. Very few have shade selections and limited to two shades only. That really sucks.

The following is the list of all the bb creams shown on the photo above; I think you'll figure out how this list and the photo goes.

bb1
1 Skin Food Mushroom Multi Care BB Cream SPF20 PA+ Shade #1
2 MISSHA M Shiny BB Cream SPF27 PA++
3 MISSHA M Watery BB Cream SPF27 PA++
4 MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 PA+++ Shade #21
5 Etude House Magic BB cream (version for dry skin)
6 Skin79 Super+ BB Gold Label (VIP Gold collection) SPF25 PA++
7 Hanskin Super Magic BB Cream SPF30 PA++

bb2
1 Etude BB Bright Cream
2 Dodo Club BB Cream
3 Skin79 Derma RX Beblesh Balm SPF15
4 Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Triple Functions SPF25 PA++
5 Skin79 Diamond Collection The Prestige Beblesh Balm SPF25 PA++
6 Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV SPF20 PA++
7 Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream
8 Banila Co Let Me Finish Multiple BB Cream SPF27 PA++
9 Innisfree Trouble Care BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
10 Hanskin Magic BB Cream

bb3
1 Cathy Cat Colorist It BB Cream Season 2 SPF10
2 Cosline Total Sun Base 3 in 1 SPF36 PA++
3 Skin79 Lovely Girl BB Cream
4 Jadilla J Whitening BB Plus SPF30 PA++
5 Lotree SPF21 BB Primer Tinted Control Base

bb4
1 Oriks Oriental Herb BB Cream
2 Mamonde Natural Cover Lotion
3 VOV Castledew Whitening BB Repair Balm SPF15
4 VOV Anti Trouble Blemish Balm SPF17
5 Jadilla J The Original BB SPF30 PA++

bb5
1 Lioele Water Drop BB Lioele Aqua Makeup SPF27 PA++
2 Clio Whitening BB Cream SPF17
3 Banila Co Let Me Finish Prime BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
4 Rita Rove W So Lightsome BB Cream for all skin types
5 Etude House Speedy Total Base SPF35 PA++ 3 in 1
6 Jadilla J Skinguard BB Plus
7 Tony Moly BB Expert Triple Blemish Balm Cream SPF 45 PA+++
8 Tony Moly Secret BB Cream Brighter

Now the 8 bb cream that worked well for her are:

bb1 4 MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 PA+++ shade #21
bb1 6 Skin79 Super+ BB Gold Label (VIP Gold collection) SPF25 PA++
bb2 10 Hanskin Magic BB Cream
bb2 5 Skin79 Diamond Collection The Prestige Beblesh Balm SPF25 PA++
bb2 6 Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV SPF20 PA++ pale
bb2 9 Innisfree Trouble Care BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
bb2 8 Banila Co Let Me Finish BB Cream
bb2 4 Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Triple Functions SPF25 PA++

Her reviews are really helpful. Now if you can compare your skintone to her and have tried 1 or 2 bb creams already and still not satisfied with the color well you can try looking at the one she had already and compare the color.

I got a sample of MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42 PA+++ in shade #23 which is the darker version of what she got and I have skinfood aloe in shade #2 which suppose to be a darker version too. Because the MISSHA M Perfect #23 still a bit too light for me I will be picking something a bit darker next time and I might get the perfect match.

Atleast now I know not to buy every single brand because I don't have the money to do it and I don't want to end up with tubes of bb creams that I will not be able to use because I'll end up looking like a ghost if I try to finish it just because I don't want it to go to waste.

With the swatch of bb cream shades I know which bb cream to avoid in terms of shades. Now to know more about the bb creams Kathi reviewed pls go to her site and read thru them to get the one you think will work for you.

And I will now pick the ones I want to buy soon. Excited? YES!

for more reviews check out
Kimoko

Kimiko got a huge collections of bb creams as well but no swatches but she did put time and money on review bb creams as well.

Cheap oil absorbing sheet

I remember watching a show where an actress said she doesn't buy oil absorbing sheets for her face. If she is in public place and needs to get rid of the oiliness in her face she usually goes to a public restroom and grabs a clean toilet sheet cover and turn it into small pieces of sheets. She would normally use 1 piece and keep the leftovers in her bag just in case she needs to use more while she's on the go.

I used to buy clean and clear oil absorbing sheets but when I found out about the toilet sheet cover I tried using it. My face is really oily and believe me it works and its free. The best thing about it is it does not have any chemical in it, well that's what I think, I might be wrong. Try it and see for your self you'll be shock, guarantee it.
